Susan Pittman of Langlois is spearheading the creation of the Port Orford Kinetic Sculpture Race, to be held annually on the Fourth of July. She has been on the race circuit of late, making connections with all the established teams. Susan has a demonstration race planned for July 4th this year with a couple experienced teams. After participating in the parade, participants will head north on Idaho and Arizona Streets to Paradise Point, then south along the beach, then across Garrison Lake to the 12th Street boat launch. Follow along on your bike, or watch from Paradise Point or 12th Street.

Susan is putting together a local team to create their own kinetic sculpture for next year. Contact her at susancanario59@gmail.com to learn more This will be an awesome addition to Fourth of July in Port Orford!
